Still grieving the loss of her husband, Anne Nelson reluctantly attends a bluegrass music festival hosted by her son’s band in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. There, she is stunned to discover that her late husband’s best friend, Dave, is now a part of the band. She returns year after year forming deep friendships and a growing appreciation for the music while questioning her feelings for Dave and her own lingering guilt.
